First Contact Physiotherapy

If you have a musculoskeletal issue, such as a bad back or neck or joint pain, you can see a physiotherapist at a GP Practice. They can assess your issue and decide on the most appropriate action to take.  Our Physiotherapists can provide you with some self-management advice and, if needed, refer you on to the most appropriate service.

Who is the service for?

  • People aged 16 or over
  • There are some medical criteria which will be checked when you contact your GP Practice.

Midwife

Pregnant ladies can now self-refer to book to meet your midwife to plan your care , go our website, www.esht.nhs.uk/our-services/maternity/referral. Fill in your details and click “submit”, your community midwife will be in contact with you to book your first appointment.

Community dermatology

Dr Kondagari holds a Dermatology Clinic usually on a Tuesday and Thursday mornings and is held at the Rye Surgery. You will need to see your GP first to be referred to this Clinic.

Community microsuction

Dr Taggart holds a Micro suction Clinic usually on a Tuesday morning and is held at the Rye Surgery. You will need to see your GP first to be referred to this Clinic.
