Appointments

Appointments can be booked online with Patient Access or please call us on: 01797 22 33 33.  Reception hours 8.30am – 6.30pm.

The phone lines are always a little busy first thing in the morning and you may find the lines engaged so you may wish to try a little later in the day wherever possible.

Although you will have a registered doctor, patients can book appointments to see any of our doctors.

Appointments are available from 8.30am – 11.30am and 2pm – 6.20pm Monday to Friday.

Please remember that if you need to see your Doctor about several problems that cannot be safely managed in 10 minutes then it is best to request a double appointment.

Branch surgeries

We do run some clinics in our rural villages for those patients who find it difficult to get transport to the main surgery. All these appointments must be booked in advance and have limited services.

Camber Village hall on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Icklesham Village hall on Monday and Friday

Due to a shortage of Doctor availability, we have postponed clinics at Brede and Peasmarsh village halls for the time being. However we are still running a prescription service please see Prescriptions for more information.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Urgent appointments

If you urgently need to see a doctor and all the surgeries are full; we will always try to make sure you are fitted in on the same day. This might not be with your usual GP and could be with our Paramedic Practitioner.

When you call the practice, please provide our reception team with a brief outline of the problem, that way the receptionist can ensure they book you in with the most appropriate person. You may be asked to sit and wait to be slotted in.

Telephone appointments

These can be arranged during surgery hours, please contact our reception team who will provide you with the information required.

Home visits

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. If you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00.  Please only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please note you may now be visited by our Paramedic Practitioner for an acute condition, she works alongside our doctors.

It may also be possible that you will be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby.
